The Audacious Vision of Mars
Kudopel and Beyond
As Albert Einstein said, “imagination is more important than knowledge.” When a nation dreams big, these dreams prevail in the minds of citizens. But today, there is a disconnect between our dreams for tomorrow and the path we are collectively hurtling down. As a nation, we are are mired in debt, we have been at war in the middle east for over a decade as our infrastructure and education system at home decays, our fragile environment continues to unravel, and the latest news that we reached 400ppm carbon in the atmosphere is a symbolic reminder that things need fixing. We are disconnected from our world, ourselves and each other.
It is important to point to problems that need attention and to raise the banner of justice. It is equally important to resuscitate hope that has been bankrupted by despair, to reinvigorate dreams discarded in times of turbulence, and to ignite imagination. It is within the realms of imagination that we first dare to go boldly where no man has gone before, and create the channels to solve the crisis’ of our times.
The Audacious Vision of Mars; Kudopel and Beyond, is a story about imagination and cultivating great visions. It is a documentary and transmedia experience exploring our global fascination with the planet of Mars, and a story about the unique bond between a brother and sister.
